CT Faith - Based 2017 Summer School Scholarships

The New England Institute of Addiction Studies is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for individuals connected to Connecticut faith-based entities to the 2017 New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies. The school will take place June 5 - 8, 2017 at Worcester State University, Worcester, MA. 

The scholarships NEIAS is offering will cover the full residential rate, which also includes meals in the campus cafeteria.

Scholarships are available to those currently working in the field of addiction and/or mental health connected to Connecticut faith - based entities, such as: faith leaders, addiction counselors, prevention professionals, outreach staff, or recovery support staff. These scholarships are funded by specially designated dollars that mandate that individuals using these funds work or volunteer in Connecticut in a faith-based entity.

Please complete the form below to be considered for a CT Faith - Based 2017 Summer Scholarship.

Required questions are noted with a red star.

In the last section, click on the orange "Submit" button to submit your scholarship application. Once your application is submitted, you will see a page that says "Thank you for your application". You will also see a small printer near the top of the page, which you can select to print a copy of your submitted application for your files.

Please note that a scholarship application is separate from your Summer School registration, which must be completed separately.

There are many courses that you may attend. (View the Summer School / Courses link for further course details.) These courses range from introductory to advanced. Please answer (1) what you hope to gain from attending this school and (2) how you will use the information in your work in the faith-based community:
